Sampling and production

Clear plastic sleeves are available for sampling and production. We develop the fit, material and graphics around the actual product or base pack, record sample approvals and check the agreed quality criteria.

Add transparency to an existing pack

A clear sleeve can reveal the product or underlying graphics while adding structure, protection from handling, or another branding layer. It can be used around a paper carton, paper tube, tray, or the product itself, depending on fit and performance requirements.

A good fit for

  • Paper-and-clear-material presentation concepts
  • Seasonal or premium upgrades to an existing base pack
  • Products that benefit from partial visibility
  • Sleeves combined with paperboard cards, inserts, or belly bands

Requires additional review when

  • The base pack varies in dimension or has a surface that may scuff
  • A friction fit must remain consistent without an approved physical sample
  • The sleeve is expected to carry product weight or provide transit protection
Fit, material, and graphics

The base pack is measured as a physical object, including seams, corners, coatings, and natural variation. PET-family or PP sheet may be evaluated depending on appearance, fold behavior, application, and processing requirements. Printed areas, foil, screen print, and clear zones are confirmed through a representative sample.

Sample approval and quality

Presshape is your project contact from specification to delivery. We record the approved material, structure, graphics and sample reference, then check the finished packaging against the agreed criteria.

What to send for a quote

Provide the actual base pack or precise dimensions, photos, preferred coverage, artwork, quantity by version, destination, packing method, and delivery requirements. Sampling with the final base pack is recommended before production approval.
